In a Group culture change role at the National Australia Bank (NAB), he helped to lead the establishment and implementation of the bank's global strategy of "differentiating NAB through culture and reputation" across 40,000 employees. Prior to NAB he was a senior HR Business Partner at NAB having previously been HR Manager and Executive Team member at NZ Refining – at the time the most successful listed company on the NZ stock exchange. Since then he has also worked with other organisations (including Mars) to do the same. He has had senior corporate roles in significant organisations and has consulted with IBM Global Services in London and Deloitte Consulting in NZ.
Industry experience includes banking, resources, FMCG, government sector, health insurance, tertiary education, manufacturing, and telecommunications in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Andrew is a conceptual thinker and has the ability to view complex problems with clarity, create solutions for them, and then provide clear direction and action. Andrew is also an accredited Human Synergistics practitioner in OCI/OEI (culture diagnostics) and LSI/GSI (individual & group behaviour diagnostics).
